The Chinese guests were first introduced to the activities of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
An overview of modern educational processes, the specifics of bachelor's and master's degrees, advanced approaches to professional training, and the potential to participate in international collaboration were provided to the delegation.
The guests were highly appreciative of the modern approaches to education and the conditions which have been created for students during the tour of the information and resource center, educational buildings, specialized special vehicles, and a sports complex.
Afterwards, a bilateral meeting was held with the members of the delegation. An exchange of ideas was held on the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Chinese relations and on priority areas for strengthening cooperation in a global context.
The head of the Academy, Rustam Khatamov, recognized that a new format of multifaceted cooperation had been formed between our countries, and beneficial relations had risen to the level of strategic partnership.
Over the past few years, the exchange of experiences with leading Chinese higher education institutions has expanded, and the importance of further developing cooperation in this area has been highlighted.
During the meeting, Wu Wei, President of the Beijing Police College, made a speech. He emphasized that our people are connected by strong ties based on the principles of mutual trust and respect.
- The Great Silk Road demonstrates our centuries-old friendly relations. It is deeply evident that the ties that have survived the test of time have developed into strong cooperation, which serves the prosperity of the countries that are boldly pursuing the path of development. We intend to strengthen our relations with this visit and to take them to a new level in areas that meet our interests, said Wu Wei, head of the delegation.
During the meeting, the issues of signing a memorandum between the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Beijing Police College, establishing cooperation in education, scientific research and other areas, and studying the advanced approaches of the parties were discussed.
The heads of educational institutions agreed to develop cooperation, recognizing the importance of the meeting, which was held in a sincere spirit.
In the second half of the day, the delegation members met with the Head of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs, Major General Aziz Toshpulatov. During the bilateral meeting, they exchanged views on exchanging experience in ensuring public safety and combating crime. They also discussed the widespread introduction of digital technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies and the organization of joint training courses. The guests then visited the Information Multimedia Center and the "Shon-Sharaf" Museum.
The next day of the visit, the guests of our country visited Samarkand. They also went to the Department of Safe Tourism and the cultural heritage sites and attractions of the city.
The guests were deeply impressed by the tourism potential of our country, the safe conditions created for tourists, and the wide-ranging reforms being implemented in the internal affairs bodies.
