Strengthening international cooperation relations

On September 10 this year, a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Minister Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov took part in the first meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security in the “Central Asia – China” format in Lianyungang, China.
Delegations led by the Minister of Public Security of China and the Ministers of Internal Affairs of our country, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan took part in the meeting in the format of "Central Asia - China".
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the fight against crime and promoting cooperation in public security, creating a mechanism of inter-departmental and inter-sectoral coordination in the field of law and order, as well as sharing experience, strengthening regional unity and solidarity, and enhancing multilateral cooperation.
After the event, the protocol of the "Central Asia - China" meeting was signed, which included promising tasks for developing cooperation between the parties.
Furthermore, during the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs of our country, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, had a bilateral meeting with a member of the State Council of China - the Minister of Public Security, Police General Wang Xiaohong.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the Program on mutual cooperation for 2024-2025 between the two ministries signed in Tashkent in April this year, as well as strengthening cooperation in the fight against terrorism and extremism, illegal drug trade and other types of transnational crimes, combating cybercrimes and internal digital forensics. They also discussed issues such as organizing special training courses for internal affairs employees.
At the friendly and constructive meeting, promising tasks were identified to develop mutual cooperation.
