The joint meeting determined specific measures to ensure security in the mahallas, maintain public order, accelerate social prevention activities in cooperation, and prevent the population from committing crimes or becoming victims during Independence Day preparation and implementation.

Responsible leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Guard and Emergency Situations, Association of Neighborhoods of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment, Family and Women's Committee and Youth Affairs Agency took part in the meeting.

Deputy Minister Major General Bekmurod Abdullaev has set a number of tasks to ensure the safety of residents and guests, property, and road traffic during the preparation and holding of the holiday.

In this regard, on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from August 3rd to September 5th of this year, the joint decision signed by the heads of the ministries and agencies on the implementation of special preventive measures "Safe zone and property crime prevention month" in the republic's mahallas, mass media, the issues of implementation of comprehensive propaganda work among social networks, press and citizens were thoroughly discussed.

During the discussion, officials of the ministry and the department who participated in the meeting expressed their proposals regarding the tasks defined in the joint decision.
