A working group headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, conducted night inspections in Chilanzar and Uchtepa districts of our capital to ensure the implementation of the tasks set by the head of state to improve the criminal situation in the regions and maintain peace within the mahallas.
A working group led by the Minister of Internal Affairs continues to systematically study the security measures implemented at night in the Chilanzar and Uchtepa districts of Tashkent by the personnel of the internal affairs department in collaboration with the public.
It was examined how services are organized in the shopping complex "Integro" located on Bunyodkor Street in Chilanzar district, whether citizens' safety is guaranteed, and the conditions created for residents.
The information of the employees involved in providing security to the complex was heard, the state of operational readiness of the employees to prevent violations was checked as a control, as well as instructions regarding the organization of the service in cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
During the event, the working group studied the activities of the inter-district division of the Tashkent Security Department located in Chilanzar district.
The readiness of the personnel involved in the service, the attached forces and means, as well as their readiness to maintain stability in the immediate situation, were checked during the process, and specific tasks were assigned to improve the service.
During the inspections, he met with activists from the district in the "Al-Khorazmi" mahalla and became familiar with the activities conducted to ensure peace for residents. In the course of the process, the practical results of the work being performed in the mahalla were demonstrated.
In response to the positive work being undertaken in the mahalla, the number of crimes in the area has decreased by almost twofold, as the working group has specifically acknowledged. Several recommendations were made to increase the book fund of the mahalla to increase the reading literacy of residents and young people in the mahalla.
During the inspection, the working group members got acquainted with the activities of the 3rd sector headquarters for the socio-economic development of the Uchtepa district, the work process of officials and the conditions created for employees.
The main attention was focused on the implementation of best practice models together with partner organizations, increasing video surveillance coverage in private homes and public places, safe movement on city roads, and measures taken to ensure pedestrian safety, especially children, young people and women.
Also, members of the working group got acquainted with the beautification of the place which was previously neglected area on Samarabonu Street, "Urikzor" mahalla of the district, which was turned into a park, as well as the newly established legal order serving in the "Sarakol", "Yu.Sakkokiy", "Zarafshon" mahallas of the district and the "Orikzor" shopping complex.
All shortcomings identified during the study were critically discussed, and targeted measures for improving future service activities were determined.
