The working group, led by Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, conducted night inspections of Almazar and Shaikhontohur districts of our capital to ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined by the head of state to improve the criminal situation in the regions and maintain peace in the mahallas.
The working group led by the Minister of Internal Affairs continues to systematically review the security measures implemented in the night hours and the security measures implemented in Almazor and Shaikhontohur districts of Tashkent city by personnel of the internal affairs departments in cooperation with the public.
During the event, the organization of services in the shopping and entertainment complex "Rivera Mall" located in the "Chilturgan" mahalla of Almazar district, the extent to which citizens' safety is ensured, and the conditions created for residents in the complex were studied.
The information of the employees involved in the security of the complex was heard, the state of readiness of the employees to prevent violations was checked as a control, and also the relevant instructions were given regarding the organization of the service in cooperation with the law enforcement agencies.
During their studies, they learned about the activities organized in the "Khichqiriq" mahalla of the district. As part of this process, the practical results of the work being performed in the mahalla were demonstrated.
Since the work has been conducted in the mahalla, the number of crimes in the area has decreased almost twofold, which has been recognized by the working group. On behalf of the mayor of Almazar district, a thousand books will be donated to the local office's library in addition to the existing fund in order to promote reading literacy among local residents and youth.
A special focus was placed on solving problems in the "Khichqiriq" mahalla and how to implement it as a model for mahallas in other districts based on its specific characteristics. In addition, an instruction was given on behalf of the head of Tashkent city MDIA to encourage mahalla preventive inspectors Captain Jamshid Abdulbokiev and Lieutenant Otabek Abdullaev for their exceptional services and in connection with "Youth Day".
During the event, the working group got acquainted with the project of a 24/7 service, tourist, and gastronomic street being organized in the "Chigatoy Darboza" mahalla.
Here, officials interacted with local residents and discussed their future plans, problems, and expected positive results from the project.
Also, during the studies, the working group studied the quick service activity and combat readiness of the Fire Rescue Squad of the Emergency Situations Department of the city of Tashkent, located in the "Urda" mahalla of Shaikhontohur district, B.Zokirov Street.
