Meeting held with NIFI on public procurement issues

📌 On April 3, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement with a delegation from the Financial Research Institute (NIFI) under the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Agency, Bakhtiyor Khaydarov, as well as heads of relevant structural divisions. From NIFI, Acting Director Gleb Gennadievich Pokatovich and procurement experts participated.
🎤 During the meeting, issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of public procurement were discussed.
✔️ The parties agreed to cooperate in the following priority areas:
- improvement of the public procurement system;
- introduction of digital and analytical solutions;
- increasing transparency of procurement processes;
- expanding participation of local producers;
- development of green and sustainable procurement.
➡️ In addition, перспективные проекты по digitalization, contract management systems, artificial intelligence integration, and localization policy improvement were reviewed.
📌 As a result of the meeting, the following agreements were reached:
- implementation of pilot projects;
- establishment of regular expert consultations;
- formation of joint working groups;
- adoption of best practices.
This cooperation will contribute to further improvement of the public procurement system, enhancing its efficiency and transparency.
