According to Article 25 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Protection of the Population and Territories from Natural and Technogenic Emergencies,” adopted on August 17, 2022, training the population to act in emergency situations is universal and mandatory.

In addition, pursuant to the relevant decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Resolution No. 754 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 9, 2019, a comprehensive system for preparing the population for emergencies has been established and is being consistently implemented.

Today, Life Safety Training Centers provide specialized training programs for managers and employees of social sector institutions, business entities, as well as persons responsible for fire safety and civil protection.

During the training, participants learn:
— fire prevention and firefighting measures;
— how to make effective management decisions during emergencies;
— safe evacuation of employees and the public;
— practical first aid skills.

Most importantly, these training courses are organized on a contractual basis, and every manager and citizen assumes responsibility for their own safety.
