Significant damage to nature caused in Namangan region

An operational group from the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Namangan region conducted a nighttime raid, during which an illegal fishing activity was discovered.
In the Pap district, inspectors from the regional and district departments detained a citizen, I.A., who was engaged in illegal fishing using prohibited methods. As a result of his actions, damage to wildlife amounted to 225 million sums.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator and all collected materials have been sent to the prosecutor’s office for further legal assessment.
