Ash trees illegally cut down in Yangiyul district

The Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Tashkent Region conducted a routine environmental inspection in the Yangiyul district.
During the raid in the "Madaniyat" mahalla of Yangiyul district, the illegal felling of four ash trees was discovered. An investigation determined that the violation was committed by citizens U.B. and U.A.
The unauthorized tree cutting resulted in environmental damage exceeding 412 million sums.
All collected case materials have been submitted to the Tashkent Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Environmental Protection for legal evaluation.
