About 700 billion sums worth of damage has been caused to nature in the Tashkent region

Employees of the Environmental Control Inspectorate of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change conducted another control raid in the Chirchik River area.
During the raid, it was established that citizen A.K. had illegally extracted natural sand and gravel from the riverbed using a Volvo excavator and transported it with a 2 HOWO truck to the stone crushing plant of the "S.Q.M." enterprise. As a result, the requirements of Article of the Law "On Nature Protection" and Article of the Law "On Subsoil" were violated.
State inspectors placed the vehicles in a parking lot until the situation was clarified.
The damage caused to nature amounted to 674 billion 48 million 699 thousand 520 sums.
The documents collected in the case have been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office for a legal assessment of the situation and the adoption of legal measures.
