State inspectors of the control department of the Aidar-Arnasai lake system of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change conduct regular control raids.
In particular, over the past period of 2024, 307 violations related to illegal hunting were identified, and the amount of fines amounted to 601 million 503 thousand sums. Also, the damage caused to nature amounted to 1 billion 702 million 961 thousand sums.
Criminal cases have been initiated for 10 violations. Also, in 57 cases, 1,178 kg of fish were seized from poachers and donated to boarding schools and preschool institutions.
In addition, 7 hunting rifles, 83 fishing nets, 7 electric fishing rods, 6 boats, and 5 other items were seized from the violators. Currently, the control and raid measures are continuing.
