A resident of Samarkand illegally kept a black-tailed python

According to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ishtikhansky district, the python was brought into the country illegally by this citizen.
After studying the situation, the staff of the regional Department of Ecology found out that the length of the tiger python, listed in the International Red Book, is 2.78 meters, and the width is 28 cm.
Upon the fact of illegal python keeping, an administrative protocol was drawn up against B.M. in accordance with Article 92 of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility, and a fine of 5 BCV—1 million 875 thousand sums was imposed.
Currently, the black-tailed python is under the protection of the regional Department of Ecology and is undergoing medical examination by specialists at the rehabilitation center of the Zarafshan National Natural Park.
