A citizen who tried to illegally import 40 grey-crowned goldfinches into the country was stopped

The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change was informed about an attempt to illegally import songbirds through the "Gishtkoprik" border customs post.
The Customs Department of the Tashkent region detained a citizen who tried to illegally import 40 undeclared grey-crowned goldfinches into Uzbekistan.
When studying the situation at the customs post, state inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology found that there were no relevant documents for birds. Goldfinches were seized and released into the wild.
Currently, all the documents collected in this case have been sent to the judicial authorities.
