Inspectors of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Tashkent region conducted regular environmental control measures in the Yangiyul district of the region.
During the raid on Uzbekistan Street in the Khalkabad mahalla, the fact of illegal felling of 1 perennial plane tree (sycamore) from the base, as well as damage to another of the same tree, was revealed.
According to the results of the operational check, the violator turned out to be a citizen H.D., who lives in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent city. By his actions, he violated the requirements of the relevant articles of the Law "On the Protection and Use of Flora", causing damage to nature in the amount of more than 199 million sums.
Currently, the relevant documents on this case have been sent to the Prosecutor's office of the Tashkent region for a legal assessment of the situation and taking measures.
