Since 2013, Uzbekistan has had a tradition of celebrating Migratory Animal Day. Various representatives of the animal world from time to time go on dangerous and grueling journeys just to survive as a species. By celebrating this date, the public and scientists want to draw attention to the problem of migratory animals dying due to various man-made obstacles. Uzbekistan has ratified the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals.
