For information: representatives of the Ministry's delegation visited the Republic of Korea, where they held talks with a number of companies on cooperation in the field of waste recycling and also signed a grant agreement on the construction of a waste recycling plant in the Jizzakh region.
The visit to the Song-do plant was carried out as part of a project aimed at introducing the practice of waste incineration by pyrolysis in the Jizzakh region.
For reference: the Song-do plant was built in 2006 and currently burns 540 tons of waste per day by pyrolysis in a two-chamber furnace (in the first chamber the temperature is above 1000 degrees and in the second chamber more than 950 degrees).
At the same time, I. Kutbiddinov met with D. Cho, CEO of Green Hammer Co., Ltd. During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed for the implementation of a project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by creating enterprises for the incineration, purification, and processing of organic waste in the Khorezm and Jizzakh regions.
