Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan

For information: two projects of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan were among the winners. This is a nationwide project of Yashil Makon and Green University (nomination "Education and education in the field of climate").

Presentation on the work on improving the level of landscaping in Uzbekistan, which has been carried out for 5 years, left a warm impression on the members of the selection committee.

During the event, Chairman of the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintaev sent a video message to the winners and prize-winners of the competition.

"Each state of the Eurasian Economic Union independently implements its international obligations within the framework of the climate agenda, therefore, the Green Eurasia competition can be considered a kind of demonstration of the national achievements of countries in this area aimed at a broad international exchange and use of technologies for carbon development and emission reduction. I would like to thank all its participants who make a significant contribution to achieving global goals, as well as contribute to improving our common future", said B.Sagintayev.

Recall that the national project "Yashil Makon" was initiated by the head of our state and has become a good tradition. Within the framework of the project, 200 million seedlings of trees and shrubs are planted annually, thereby increasing the green areas in cities by 30%.
