Violators were obliged to pay 538 million sums for damage to saxaul plants in Bukhara region

Inspectors of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Bukhara region conduct regular raids to prevent damage to saxaul plants.

During the raids, a total of 60 cases of offenses were revealed over 9 months. Also, protocols have been drawn up for the repeated commission of offenses against 2 citizens under Part 2 of Article 79 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Documents on all cases were sent to the court, and the violators were brought to justice by a court decision.

Protocols have been drawn up against citizens for violations under Part 1 of Article 79 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and fines in the amount of 164,900,000 sums have been imposed. At the same time, the amount of damage to nature amounted to 373,727,000 sums. In total, the violators who broke the saxauls were ordered to pay 538 million and 627 thousand sums.
