A violator will pay more than 20 million sums for illegal fishing

During the raid, it was found that 27 fish of 4 species, the total weight of which exceeds the permissible norm (5 kg), were caught by citizen T.H. from a ditch flowing through the area in violation of fishing rules. As a result, damage to the animal world was caused in the amount of 14 million 960 thousand sums.
For information: according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 9, 2024, "On approval of the Rules of fishing in natural reservoirs of the Republic of Uzbekistan", amateur athletes can fish no more than 5 kg per day (or 1 fish over the specified weight).
According to this fact, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender under Part 1 of Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a fine of 15 BCV – 5 million 100 thousand sums was imposed. For this violation, T.H. will pay a total of 20 million 60 thousand sums (fine and damage).
For information: The Ministry of Ecology and its territorial administrations regularly conduct raid measures to counter illegal hunting and fishing. Such offenses entail legal liability under the law.
