The Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of Surkhandarya region conducted another control raid.
During the raid on the site of the 5th quarter of the 2nd district of the "Alachapon" department of the Baysun State Forestry, it was found that 16 Juniperus seravschanica were cut down by a business entity during the extraction and transportation of coal from the territory and 2 Lonicera xylosteum bushes were uprooted.
49 junipers seravschanica and 1 Lonicera xylosteum bush were also damaged, which stopped growing. As a result, nature suffered damage in the amount of 83 million 810 thousand sums.
The documents collected on this fact are being prepared to be sent to the court for appropriate measures.
