Violators illegally transporting a large consignment of crayfish to Tashkent have been arrested

The Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Samarkand region, together with employees of the Kattakurgan reservoir and the Highway Patrol Service, conducted a control raid.
During the raid, a truck with crayfish was stopped at the "Bulungur Yuqori nuqta" post. During the investigation, it turned out that the poachers were transporting 22,125 crayfish weighing 765.5 kg in 75 plastic containers to Tashkent.
As a result, damage amounting to 130 million 130 thousand sums was caused to natural resources.
The crayfish were released into the Kattakurgan reservoir. The vehicle was placed in a parking lot. Also, all the documents collected on this fact have been sent to the prosecutor's office of the Samarkand region to identify all offenders and take legal measures.
