The III International Sculpture Symposium will be held in Tashkent

From August 10 to September 10, 2024, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, together with the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, will organize the III International Sculpture Symposium "Tashkent – 2024".
Within the framework of the symposium, experienced and qualified sculptors of Uzbekistan and foreign countries will create works of art made of stone on the theme "Sculpture and the Environment". Masterclasses and practical classes will also be organized for young artists, where the traditions of the "master apprentice" will be demonstrated.
In addition, trips to museums and cultural heritage sites of the cities of Tashkent, Bukhara, and Tashkent regions are organized for the symposium participants.
Sculptures created during the symposium with a unique artistic solution and idea will be installed in parks, recreation areas, entertainment, and tourist facilities, as well as at the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University) to form the cultural environment and artistic image of the city of Tashkent.
Following the symposium results, the participants will be awarded certificates and monetary rewards.
