This is provided for by the resolutions of the Head of State, "On measures to further improve the management system in the field of household and construction waste management" and "On additional measures to organize sanitary cleaning and cleanliness in settlements", as well as by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, "On approval of normative legal acts in the field of waste management".

According to the new tariff, the fixed fee in the city of Urgench and the Urgench district for individuals is 5880 sums per person, and for legal entities, it is 80640 sums per 1 m3 (including VAT). In the city of Khiva and other districts of the region for individuals, there are 4,592 sums and 64,400 sums (including VAT) for legal entities.

It is worth noting that, at the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, these mandatory uniform tariffs, established by the decisions of the relevant session of the regional Councils of People's Deputies, will contribute to improving the quality of services provided by sanitary-cleaning enterprises, creating new jobs.

For reference, measures are currently being taken to establish uniform payment tariffs for services provided for the collection and export of solid waste in other regions of our republic.

Previously, for the services provided for the collection and removal of solid household waste, uniform tariffs were established  in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the cities of Tashkent and Karshi, Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand, Fergana, Andijan, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Surkhandarya regions.
