The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Ibrahim Neyaz, Head of Saudi Arabia's National Technology Development Program (NTDP), to discuss the development of IT services and outsourcing opportunities.

The meeting focused on enhancing IT services in Uzbekistan and creating high-paying jobs for local young professionals. Special attention was given to establishing acceleration programs for local startups and strengthening partnerships between IT Park Uzbekistan and NTDP to support the growth of Uzbek startups with significant teForchnological potential.

Discussions also covered proposals for Uzbek startups to participate in the "LEAP 2025" event, scheduled for February 9-12, 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This event is recognized as a key platform for startups to exchange expertise on a global scale and explore new opportunities for growth and development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to form a joint working group to focus on specific areas of cooperation. This initiative is expected to strengthen Uzbekistan's technological capabilities and expand the export of IT services.
