Inha University in Tashkent Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Inha University in Tashkent celebrated its 10th anniversary with a commemorative video highlighting key historical events and emphasizing its role as a strong example of cultural and scientific partnership with Korea.
The ceremony featured speeches by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, President of Inha University in Korea Cho Myong Woo, Korean Ambassador to Uzbekistan Won Do Young, Executive Director of Inha University Lee Hwa Seok, and Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Jalolov, all of whom acknowledged the institution’s contribution to Uzbekistan's economy.
Minister Shermatov underscored that the university has become a symbol of cooperation with Korean companies, with its graduates recognized internationally as highly skilled professionals. "Over the past decade, the university has achieved its ambitious goals. Inha has earned its place as one of the most prestigious universities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. Its graduates are in high demand within the country's IT sector and play a pivotal role in positioning Uzbekistan as an IT hub," he stated.
The event also celebrated successful alumni, including Aziza Artikhojaeva, Aslkhan Khoshimhojaev, Rahima Nugmanova, and Muhammadsaid Mamasaidov, who shared how their education at Inha opened new career paths. In addition, alumni working at international companies such as Nuriddin Iminkhojayev, Darkhonbek Mamataliev, Dilmurod Yangiboyev, and Rustam Zakirov sent video messages of congratulations, highlighting the university's global reputation.
Since its founding, Inha University in Tashkent has produced over 1,900 specialists, with more than 85 percent contributing to Uzbekistan’s digital transformation and IT development. The remainder have successfully pursued careers at major international major international companies, including Google, Microsoft and Amazon.
