Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visited local secondary school No. 22 in Navoi, a 990-student facility equipped with modern technology to promote digital education and encourage youth participation in technology.
The school has created a specialized IT classroom, as well as dedicated rooms for robotics and cybersports, providing students with engaging, technology-focused extracurricular activities. These facilities offer hands-on learning in computer literacy, programming, web design, 3D modeling, robotics and cybersports, allowing students to build practical skills and deepen their interest in digital fields.
Currently, approximately 100 students are actively participating in these programs, gaining foundational skills that support digital literacy, innovative thinking, and readiness for a technology-oriented society.
Minister Shermatov emphasized the importance of such initiatives in cultivating a digitally proficient generation. He stressed the need for sustained support in digital education to prepare young people for the demands of today’s digital landscape. These programs represent a key advancement in integrating youth into the digital sphere, empowering them to pursue successful careers in technology and digital sciences.
