Representatives of the delegation led by Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies R. Karimjonov met with Japanese IT and digital education companies.

The meeting was attended by about 40 representatives of more than 20 companies. During the dialogue, special attention was paid to the close relations between Uzbekistan and Japan.

Deputy Minister Karimjonov presented on Uzbekistan's growing economy, major international projects, IT potential, culture, tourist attractions, and various other areas.

The companies expressed great interest in cooperating with national companies of Uzbekistan, establishing their activities in Uzbekistan, and collaborating with the Ministry.

Participants were also informed about the activities of Japanese companies "CAL," "CICC," "Gakusho," "H&K," "Ringo," and "Digital Knowledge" in Uzbekistan.

In addition, the participants received detailed information about the opportunities created in Uzbekistan for the development of digital education and IT services.

At the end of the meeting, all companies were invited to participate in ICT Week 2024, which will be held in Uzbekistan from September 17-20.

During the event, memorandums of understanding were signed between SICC, AllNippon, Toppan, Developtania, Ringo Entertainment, and the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
