Especially in joint ventures organized in cooperation with foreign entrepreneurs, quality, import substitutes from domestic raw materials are produced. It serves to increase the volume of production and exports, while fully meeting the demand of the domestic market.
The foreign enterprise “Liya Tekstile”, which began work today in the settlement “Beklar” of Kogan district, has also become a major subject that not only contributes to the development of the light industry of our region, but also brings income to the population through new jobs.
It should be noted that two years ago, Turkish businessman Keskin Mehmed Shirin took the initiative to implement a knitting and dyeing project on the territory of the Kagan district of the Gijduvon free economic zone. Over the past period, 6.4 million was received by the founder of the organization of the enterprise. An investment worth US dollars was attracted, a dazzling structure was erected in an area once made up of saltwater lands, modern technologies were brought in from Turkey and China. Thus the foundation was laid for a large industrial production enterprise.
At the opening ceremony of the enterprise, the governor of the region Botir Zaripov spoke and noted that large production complexes are being formed due to the attention paid to supporting entrepreneurship in our country at the initiative of the head of our state. This noted in his obituary that there was an important factor in further increasing the employment and income of the population.
It is recognized that in the following years, large-scale reforms are being carried out in our country aimed at the radical renewal and modernization of all spheres and industries. Today, special attention is paid to the formation of an innovative economy, the creation of a modern industry, a favorable investment climate, and the expansion of cooperation with foreign countries and leading companies.
This enterprise in the form of a limited liability company established with the participation of foreign investment is also another practical confirmation of efforts in this regard.
The enterprise has an annual production capacity of 2,400 tons and employs more than 100 citizens. In addition, 10 million per year was provided by the enterprise. More than US dollars are planned to be exported to Europe and neighboring countries.
Speaking at the event, Shark Mehmed Shirin expressed his satisfaction that the main reason for the entry of foreign investments throughout our country is the fruit of opportunities created by our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which is a direct participant in these processes.
The symbolic tape was cut off, and the assembled were closely acquainted with the conditions created at the enterprise, the possibilities of production facilities.
