A jewelry center will be established in Bukhara

Also, according to the decree of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan “on measures to further develop the jewelry production industry and ensure its competitiveness”, adopted on July 23 of this year, the establishment of one Jewelry Center in Bukhara and Namangan regions and two jewelry centers in Tashkent in 2024-2026 with the participation of OJSC “Uznilybank”.
Accordingly, practical efforts were initiated to attract enterprises of the developed, exporter jewelry industry to Bukhara, to carry out investment projects and to introduce effective exchange of experience with domestic manufacturers. In this regard, an active dialogue is being conducted with Turkish companies.
In particular, today, on August 22, the head of the industrial enterprise “Pala Golden” Ufuk Pala, considered one of the leading jewelry manufacturers of the region, and the chairman of the Association “Uzbekzargarsanoati" Shakhrukh Toychiboyev, as well as the heads of the relevant deputy governors, departments and Commercial Bank, attended a meeting in which the same issues were at the center of discussion.
Ufuk Pala touched in detail on the content and essence of his project, which he wanted to implement in Bukhara. The building, which is being allocated for the establishment of a jewelry Center, recognized its location in an area with a high population and tourist flow, and proposed to accelerate work on it.
In turn, the head of the region expressed gratitude to Ufuk Pala for his goodwill to the project, noting his willingness to support all initiatives related to the creation of a jewelry Center.
During the dialogue, it was agreed on the work to be carried out in the future in this regard.
