Year in Review: 6,099 Women in Buvayda District Received Targeted Support under the “Women’s Notebook” Program

Specifically, 4,905 women were provided with home-based employment in the sericulture sector. In addition, 135 women became self-employed, while 153 women received vocational training and were employed in their respective fields.
Preferential bank loans totaling 767 million UZS were allocated to 54 women who expressed a desire to start their own businesses.
A total of 295 million UZS in one-time financial assistance was provided to 277 women without breadwinners.
One-time financial assistance amounting to 421.8 million UZS was allocated for medical treatment to 391 women in need of social support, including those with Group I and II disabilities or requiring urgent medical care.
Furthermore, 184 women raising children with disabilities received one-time financial assistance totaling 147 million UZS.
Additionally, household appliances (ovens) worth 107 million UZS were provided to 107 women. Within the sixth stage of the program, 185 women received medical services, 170 received psychological support, and 261 received legal assistance.
