Adminstration of the Andijan District, Andijan Region

Andijan District is a district of the Andijan Region, located in the central part of the region. It was established on 24 December 1962. The district borders Andijan City and the districts of Altinkul, Asaka, Izboskan, Pakhtaabad, Jalakuduk, Khojaabad, and Buloqboshi. The total area of the district is 0.37 thousand km² (370 km²).

The district consists of 77 mahalla citizens' assemblies and includes 17 populated places.

As of 1 April 2026, the permanent population of the district is 299.9 thousand people, including 149.9 thousand men and 150.0 thousand women.
