2026-10-21 12:20:00 / Congratulations, Messages and Greetings

Dear residents of Andijan, dear guests of our city!
I sincerely extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on one of the most cherished occasions in the social, political and spiritual life of our country — October 21, Uzbek Language Day, as well as on the glorious anniversary of our native language being granted the status of the state language!
Language is the soul of a nation. Today, we can proudly say that our native language is a magnificent treasure embodying the rich history, identity, cultural heritage and spiritual values of our people, accumulated over many centuries. As emphasized in the President’s congratulatory message, the Uzbek language, a symbol of our national identity, is now resonating more prominently on international platforms and is increasingly becoming a language of science, innovation and international relations.
Dear, energetic and determined people of Andijan!
In our beautiful Andijan, the birthplace of great masters of words such as Mirzo Babur, renowned for its unique literary environment and expressive, melodious speech, cherishing the Uzbek language and preserving its purity are a source of great pride and a sacred duty for every compatriot. Today, we express our appreciation for the dedicated intellectuals, teachers and enthusiastic young people who are working to enhance the status of the Uzbek language in our city’s streets, educational institutions and cultural centres.
Taking this opportunity, I wish all residents of Andijan, and everyone contributing to the development and spiritual advancement of our city, good health, family happiness and well-being, peace and prosperity in every home.
May the prestige, value and voice of our native language always remain strong!
Happy Uzbek Language Day to you all!
