The Deputy Minister of Justice reviewed a presentation on the scope of legal awareness activities.

The “Legal Awareness Day” has become an important step in studying and addressing citizens’ legal issues in a targeted manner. Today, every Wednesday, the district justice departments in Samarkand region conduct studies within the framework of this initiative, which contributes to raising the legal culture of the population and reducing problems in this area.
👍Deputy Minister of Justice M. Istamov got acquainted with the legal awareness activities carried out in the “Devori kondalang” neighborhood of Samarkand city within the framework of the “Legal Awareness Day”, the process of studying citizens’ legal issues, as well as the “Legal Advice Corner” organized by the department and its advantages. The presentation provided extensive information on raising legal awareness among the population, delivering legislative updates, and protecting the rights and interests of citizens. It was noted that if this initiative proves effective, the Samarkand experience could be introduced in other regions as well.
👍An open dialogue was also held with community activists. During the discussion, the need to further improve the population’s legal literacy, to deliver legal information in a simple and accessible manner, and to conduct awareness-raising activities tailored to various social groups was emphasized.
👍During the dialogue, community representatives shared their proposals and opinions. The Deputy Minister of Justice instructed the responsible officials to implement these suggestions in practice. In particular, he stressed that the events within the framework of the “Legal Awareness Day” should serve as an important platform for raising the legal awareness and culture of the population, and that cooperation in this area should be further accelerated.
