Minister of Justice Participated in International Meetings Within the Framework of the UN Conference

🔹Within the framework of the 3rd UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) taking place in the city of Avaza, Turkmenistan, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akbar Tashkulov, held several important meetings.
🔸In his speech at the forum, Minister Tashkulov emphasized the role of civil society in socio-economic reforms, its importance in achieving regional integration and climate resilience, and the need to address systemic problems through civic initiatives.
❗️Akbar Tashkulov: Civil society is not just a partner. It is a bridge between the state and the people. It is the voice of those who first face the problems. Civic initiatives are the first to raise alarms about systemic issues, promote innovation, and help bring states closer to human needs. All the necessary conditions have been created in Uzbekistan to support such initiatives.
✅The Minister also held a meeting with Turkmenistan’s Minister of Justice, Merettagan Taganov. The parties noted the successful completion of the cooperation program adopted in 2022 and agreed to strengthen cooperation in the following areas under a new draft program:
▪️ digitalization of the justice system;
▪️ introduction of artificial intelligence technologies;
▪️ development of the bar and mediation;
▪️ exchange of experience in legal personnel training.
🔹The meeting also addressed the expansion of multilateral cooperation with the justice institutions of Central Asian and other developed countries.
