The First Meeting of the Appeals Council under the Ministry of Justice Was Held

According to the Resolution No. PQ–188 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 19, 2025, Appeals Councils for pre-trial review of disputes related to administrative documents in the provision of public services have been established under the Ministry of Justice and the Tashkent City Department of Justice.
Under this resolution, as an experiment, the legality of administrative decisions made regarding 25 types of public services will be reviewed collegially and free of charge by the Appeals Councils.
In this regard, a meeting of the Appeals Council under the Ministry of Justice was held. During the meeting, complaints from interested parties regarding public services were reviewed, and relevant decisions were made.
At the same time, appropriate instructions were given to administrative bodies providing public services to ensure a unified and consistent legal practice.

Note: Complaints to the Appeals Councils can be submitted until July 1, 2026.
