Combating the Shadow Economy: Work in Yashnabad District Reviewed Critically

On October 3 of this year, Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov reviewed the work being carried out in Yashnabad District to reduce the share of the shadow economy and ensure legality and transparency in trade processes.
In particular, the Minister visited the “Aviasozlar” market, where he reviewed the activities of retail outlets, the market infrastructure, the conditions created for entrepreneurs, and compliance with established procedures for conducting financial transactions.
During the review, particular attention was paid to the lawful organization of trading activities, ensuring transparency in cash turnover, the proper and effective use of cash registers, as well as the timely payment of taxes and other mandatory payments.
The responsible officials also presented reports on reducing the human factor through the digitalization of trade processes, creating equal and fair conditions for entrepreneurs, and eliminating factors contributing to the shadow economy.
The responsible officials were assigned specific tasks to prevent illegal and unauthorized trading activities, curb the sale of goods without proper financial records, and promptly address the identified issues.
