As part of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026 — the Information and Communication Technologies Week, a practical session was held focusing on the digital transformation of public administration, strengthening interagency integration, and developing convenient and modern public services for citizens.

📌 Eldor Makhkamov, Head of the Public Services Department of the Ministry of Justice, participated in the event and shared his views on the digitalization of public services and expanding citizens’ digital opportunities.

The session focused particularly on the following areas:
➖ integrating government information systems into a unified digital environment;
➖ introducing proactive and integrated public services based on citizens’ needs;
➖ leveraging artificial intelligence in public administration;
➖ digital identification and reliable protection of personal data.

🏆 During the event, the Ministry of Justice received the award in the nomination “Best Organization for Digital Integration and Strategic Partnership” for its active role in public service delivery and contribution to the development of the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal.
The main goal of digital transformation is not simply to introduce technologies, but to use them to create more convenient, faster, more transparent and effective public services for citizens.
