“Open Doors Day” held at the “Intellectual Property Centre”

✅ Today, 17 September, the “Open Doors Day” event was held at the “Intellectual Property Centre” State Institution under the Ministry of Justice.
The event was organized to establish open dialogue with the public, increase young people’s interest in the field of intellectual property, and develop their knowledge and skills in this area.
📌 The event was attended by responsible staff of the Ministry of Justice, students of the “Millat Umidi School” private educational institution, and students of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
As part of the event, participants took part in interactive tours of special exhibition areas organized at the Centre.
🟦 Participants were provided with detailed information on the following intellectual property objects:
⏩ Inventions and utility models — their creation, legal protection and practical significance;
⏩ Plant varieties and animal breeds, industrial designs, geographical indications and appellations of origin — their areas of application and legal framework;
⏩ Trademarks and service marks — their role in brand and product identification and their distinction from counterfeit products;
⏩ Copyright and related rights — creative works, mechanisms for their protection, and cases of copyright infringement.
✔️ The event was held in two stages. During the first stage, students of the “Millat Umidi School” visited the exhibition areas, while during the second stage, the same opportunity was provided to students of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
🟦 Centre specialists presented the information to each group in an engaging and interactive manner and held question-and-answer sessions.
The participants particularly noted that the “Open Doors Day” was organized at a high level and provided valuable and informative insights into intellectual property.
