✅ On September 10 this year, Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov held a meeting with Simon Giger, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Uzbekistan.

🔘 During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Switzerland. In particular, they exchanged views on prospects for further developing cooperation in the areas of intellectual property, legal education, science, and other areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, an initiative was put forward to establish direct contacts between the Ministry of Justice and the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, as well as to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between Tashkent State University of Law and leading universities in Geneva, Fribourg, and other parts of Switzerland, including through student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and professional development programmes.

🤝 At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue strengthening comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
