Cooperation Expands to Improve the Insolvency System in Line with International Standards

On August 27, Deputy Minister of Justice Muzraf Ikramov met with Christina Pak, Assistant General Counsel for Law and Policy Reform at the Asian Development Bank.
The meeting focused on further improving Uzbekistan’s insolvency system and introducing advanced international practices into the national framework.
Particular attention was given to:
improving legislation in line with international standards and reviewing draft legislation with the participation of international experts;
enhancing the professional qualifications of employees of the Insolvency Agency and insolvency practitioners, as well as organizing training programs in foreign countries;
accelerating digitalization processes in the sector;
launching a Unified Electronic Platform covering insolvency-related processes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue reforms in this area based on international best practices and to expand practical cooperation.
