Independent Uzbekistan’s 35-Year Development Path Discussed at an International Conference

An international scientific and practical conference titled “Independent Uzbekistan — 35 Years of Development: Reforms, Achievements and Prospects”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is currently taking place in the capital.
The conference was organized at the initiative of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy, and the Center of Islamic Civilization.
The conference has brought together a distinguished international audience. Alongside representatives of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, ministries and government agencies, and civil society institutions, the event is attended by members of the parliaments of Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of the United Nations and other international organizations, the diplomatic corps, and expert and academic communities.
The conference focuses on Uzbekistan’s development path throughout the years of independence, the reforms implemented and their outcomes, as well as the country’s key priorities for future development.
