At the initiative of the President, extensive efforts are underway to address a major social issue that had remained unresolved for years — the recognition of rights to unlawfully occupied land plots and the buildings and structures constructed on them.
To date, data files for more than 833,000 properties have been compiled through the “E’tirof” information system, and the process of recognizing rights to 117,164 real estate properties has been completed.
As a result of this reform, thousands of citizens are being provided with opportunities to:
register their real estate with the state;
resolve inheritance and other property-related matters;
register their place of residence;
receive social assistance;
enroll their children in schools and kindergartens;
connect their homes to utility networks.
New measures have also been introduced to further accelerate the process and provide greater convenience for citizens.
the document review period has been reduced threefold — from 150 days to 50 days;
if 50 percent of the one-time payment is paid in full within 20 working days, a discount is granted on the remaining amount;
if payment is not made within the prescribed period, an installment payment option is also available;
rights may also be recognized for real estate properties with tax arrears not exceeding 30 times the Base Calculation Amount (BCA);
if a building or structure is located in an area where construction is prohibited, the portion of the land plot falling within the restricted area is excluded, while rights may be recognized for the remaining part of the land plot.
