Cooperation Issues Discussed with the Asian Development Bank

On 21 July 2026, a bilateral meeting was held via videoconference between M. Istamov, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The meeting focused on reforms in the field of insolvency carried out under Presidential Decree No. PF-78, as well as prospects for technical cooperation with the ADB.
The discussions highlighted key priorities, including strengthening the Agency's institutional capacity, improving legislation in line with international standards, enhancing the qualifications of specialists, and advancing the digitalization of the sector.
The parties also discussed expanding cooperation with prestigious international organizations such as IAIR and INSOL International.
ADB representatives expressed their readiness to continue supporting the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and reaffirmed their commitment to further developing practical cooperation.
