It has not been long since the “Turn-key” principle mechanism for trademark registration was first introduced at the Kokand City Public Services Center.
Here, experienced specialists hired on a contractual basis provide primary legal explanations to business entities during the process of registration at the Public Services Center. They explain the advantages of trademarks, the legal consequences of not registering them, liability for producing and selling counterfeit products, and the procedure for filing an application for trademark registration.
While familiarizing himself with the activities of the patent representative, the Minister of Justice inquired about how the work is organized, as well as legislative proposals and existing issues related to promoting this relatively new type of activity.
During the process, the Minister emphasized the need to develop more consistent proposals for improving intellectual property legislation and introducing new mechanisms in this field.
