Cashless Payments and Transparency – Key Priority

During a working visit to Samarkand, Deputy Minister of Justice Muzraf Ikramov discussed the development of the cashless payment system and measures to ensure transparency.
The meeting was attended by private practice notaries as well as representatives of commercial banks, including the O‘zmilliybank branch in Samarkand.
Special attention was given to improving the electronic settlement system for real estate and vehicle sale and purchase agreements, as well as ensuring the continuity of information exchange processes.
In addition, the implementation and practical effectiveness of DP–246 dated December 10, 2025, were reviewed.
At the conclusion of the event, proposals and recommendations were developed to enhance system transparency, create conveniences for citizens, and reduce the share of the shadow economy.
