🔸 Within the framework of the “Counterfeit-Free Month” campaign, a number of practical and awareness-raising activities were organized aimed at protecting intellectual property rights and combating counterfeit products.
🔹 An international seminar-training was held On February 18, a seminar-training was organized for employees of the ministry and territorial justice bodies with the participation of experts from the international law firm Schmitt & Orlov. During the event, modern mechanisms for combating counterfeit products, international experience, and practical approaches were discussed.
🔸 Awareness-raising and practical activities were conducted in Fergana region Meetings with business entities were organized in the region to promote the protection of intellectual property rights. Responsible officials of the ministry provided on-site explanations on the advantages of owning a registered brand, as well as liability measures established for counterfeit products.
In addition, the “Osiyo market” supermarket operating in the region was recognized as a “Counterfeit-Free Trade Facility,” and a relevant certificate was presented to its management.
🔹 A seminar was held for employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office On February 20, a seminar-training in the field of intellectual property rights was organized for employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the seminar, ministry representatives provided detailed information on the work being carried out in this area, as well as on recent legislative changes.
🔸 Justice bodies continue systematic efforts to combat counterfeit products, protect intellectual property rights, and enhance legal awareness among entrepreneurs.
