Event Held in Commemoration of 9 December – International Anti-Corruption Day

Today, in commemoration of 9 December – International Anti-Corruption Day, an event was held at the Ministry of Justice with the participation of more than 120 employees of the Ministry’s central office and its subordinate institutions.
During the event, N. Masharipova, a responsible officer of the Anti-Corruption Agency, delivered a presentation on the measures being implemented in the field of combating corruption, issues related to conflicts of interest among civil servants, and compliance with codes of ethics. A lecture was also conducted in a question-and-answer format with active participation from the attendees.
A video was shown to the participants illustrating the consequences of corruption-related offenses, depicting the separation of an individual convicted of corruption and serving a prison sentence from their family, as well as the hardships faced by their children.
In addition, responsible officials provided information on the anti-corruption measures being carried out within the system of the Ministry of Justice, the level of compliance with internal departmental regulations, and the requirements set out in the anti-corruption policy implemented in institutions under the Ministry.
