A new rector has been appointed to the Tashkent State University of Law

Khodjayev Bakhshillo Kamolovich has been appointed as the Rector of the Tashkent State University of Law.
Bakhshillo Khodjayev was born in 1982 in the city of Bukhara, Bukhara region. He holds a higher education degree in law and is a Second-Class Legal Adviser. In 2004, he completed the bachelor’s program at the Tashkent State Institute of Law, in 2006 — the master’s program, and in 2018 — the doctoral program at Nagoya University (Japan).
He began his professional career in 2004 as an assistant attorney at the law firm “Mezon xususiy xizmati”.
➖2005–2006 — Specialist in the legal service of the Department of Agriculture and Water Management of Tashkent district;
➖2006–2013 — Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Acting Associate Professor of the Department of “Business Law and Business Procedural Law” at the Tashkent State Institute of Law;
➖2013–2014 — Acting Associate Professor of the Business Law Department of the Tashkent State University of Law;
➖2014–2018 — Doctoral student in Comparative Law at Nagoya University, Japan (Doctoral Program in Comparative Law and Political Science);
➖2018–2019 — Chief Consultant, Head of Department, and Deputy Director of the Legal Policy Research Institute under the Ministry of Justice;
➖2019–2020 — Deputy Head of the Main Department for the Coordination of Legal Education and Forensic Expertise Activities of the Ministry of Justice;
➖2020–2022 — Head of the Business Law Department and Dean of the Faculty of Private Law at the Tashkent State University of Law.
Prior to this appointment (since 2022), he served as the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at the Tashkent State University of Law.
