Recently, an important cooperation meeting was held with the participation of Dilnoza Kattakhanova, First Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, S. Balakrishnan, Head of the UN Youth Office Department, and representatives of the UN offices in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the implementation of Uzbekistan’s state youth policy, ongoing cooperation with the UN, and future plans.
Key topics discussed at the meeting:
The "Central Asia Youth Agenda – 2030" program: Establishing cooperation with the UN working group within the framework of the initiative proposed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Implementation of the UN’s "Future Pact" youth engagement direction at a high level in Uzbekistan.
Organizing digital “Green” initiative events in collaboration with the UN Youth Office during the Global Youth Festival, which will take place on May 15, 2025, in honor of International Climate Day.
This cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UN will create new opportunities for youth!
Additionally, the guests were introduced to the most popular projects initiated by the agency. The “Mutolaa” project’s documentary film “Qo‘rqma” ("Don’t Be Afraid") attracted significant interest. It was highlighted that the film was prepared in Uzbek, English, and Turkish, demonstrating the strong interest and attention of Uzbek youth toward learning foreign languages.
