A world record was set as 20,000 participants performed the "Andijon Polka" dance simultaneously. The achievement was officially recognized and entered into the Guinness World Records.
The mass flash mob was organized as part of the international event "Andijan – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World – 2026." An official representative of Guinness World Records presented the record certificate to the Governor of Andijan Region, Shuhratbek Abdurahmonov.
At the conclusion of the performance, a special representative of Guinness World Records announced that the cultural event had fully complied with all the strict international criteria and requirements necessary for the registration of a world record.
The Governor of Andijan Region emphasized that this prestigious recognition represents not only the achievements of the people of Andijan but also an international acknowledgment of the rich intangible cultural heritage of the entire Uzbek nation.
